FAQ’s
-
What is your rate?
Our rates vary based on the level of care and support needed. Because every individual’s needs are different, we take time to understand your situation before providing pricing. We’re happy to discuss options during a conversation and work toward a plan that feels appropriate and transparent for your family.
-
Are you medically staffed?
House of Hugs is a residential care home, not a medical facility. While we are not medically staffed, our caregivers are experienced in providing daily support, comfort, and attentive care in a non-clinical setting. We also work alongside families, hospice providers, and medical professionals as part of a broader care team.
-
What experience do your caregivers have?
Our caregivers bring hands-on experience, compassion, and a deep commitment to dignity-focused care. They are chosen not only for their skills, but for their patience, empathy, and ability to provide calm, attentive support. Ongoing guidance and oversight help ensure consistent, thoughtful care across our homes.
-
What supplies do you provide?
We provide the essentials needed for daily living within our homes, including furnishings, basic household supplies, and items that support comfort and cleanliness. Families are encouraged to bring personal belongings to help make each space feel familiar and home-like.
-
Can you help with medications?
We can assist with medication reminders and support as permitted, following family and provider instructions. While we do not administer medical treatment, we work closely with families and care partners to ensure routines are followed respectfully and consistently.
